Their 3rd album, a collection of 10 songs, was conceived during the pandemic, an era that transformed their approach to songwriting.
These compositions explore themes of joy, despair, love, and solitude, both through their music and lyrical storytelling. The result is a fusion of minimalist pop, cinematic ballads, and warm, folky sounds.
BIO
Originally brought together by Maxi Menot for what was thought to be a film music project in 2018, the three talented women discovered they shared more than just a love for cinematic sounds. They embarked on a musical odyssey, culminating in the formation of "The Remaining Part." This cinematic pop band weaves together the cultural influences of Nordic and Middle Eastern music, creating a sound that is both familiar and uniquely their own.
"The Remaining Part" has already made a mark on the music scene, working in collaboration with the renowned Film Orchestra Babelsberg. Their music has found its way into diverse platforms, including the American TV show "Younger" and the German feature film "Die Wellenbrecherinnen."

“I discovered that I actually like to form my ideas in solitude before I show them to the others. I think the new album has a lot of strong individual contributions, because we worked separately ”, says Line.
When the three woman met in Berlin to record in late 2021, they had not seen each other for 1,5 years. “It was a very happy experience to meet up after such a long break. I felt we all had so many new things to bring, and so much energy to create again” says Shary.
Throughout the creative process, Maxi Menot embraced a new approach, incorporating hand-played instruments into the band's evolving soundscape. With the addition of a Grand Piano, various guitars, bows, and a calimba, the album took on a fresh, vibrant texture. “For me, the album is the product of doing things differently. Of learning to let go of the things I don't care about and spending my time on what I truly love—in this case, playing real instruments." , Maxi shared.

an accomplished composer and music producer, has dedicated ten years to her craft, residing in Berlin as an independent musician.
Line Bøgh
hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, has carved a niche as an alternative/indie artist, renowned for challenging the conventions of pop music. She grew up in a musical home and together with her sister formed her first band "Line Bøgh", with which she recorded 3 albums.
Sharyhan Osman
with roots in Cairo, has journeyed through the indie scene as a film music composer, singer, author, presenter, and actress for over a decade.

Our epic journey through mystical stories and nordic orchestral sounds - the rare combination of indie pop and orchestra.
The entire album was recorded with the Babelsberg Film Orchestra in their studios in Potsdam.
All the pieces are orchestrated and arranged by the composers of track15.
